It is the first of February, and I have yet to step in snow. I looked outside and saw it once but it melted as it touched the ground and then quickly turned to rain. Despite all my good childhood memories of snow, I haven't really missed it. Ryan and I both really love the rain. Having to carry an umbrella seems like such a small sacrifice to be able to take long walks in the middle of the winter without freezing or slipping. People are just starting to arrive here for the Olympics - the WINTER Olympics - but it already feels like Spring.

I really like these kitschy florals. Reminds me of grandma, spring, morning tea, and flea markets.
Isn’t High Street Market great?
Oh, we’re having more winter than I want here! Snow last weekend, frozen rain today, more snow forecasted for the end of the week!
But those florals are making me want to wear a dress tomorrow! What’s a girl to do?
I love that “spring” has begun. I just got the feb 2010 anthro catalogue in the mail, and it made me excited for SUMMER. I love love love it. Alao, OnceWed is possibly one of the greatest website to be on when you have a few hours to kill. (outside of cucumbersome, of course..)
