Some of these are from a little while back. I’ve been collecting them and storing them away in bookmarks and emails to myself, for a rainy day. It’s actually beautiful weather, but lately I have been feeling rainy, creativity-wise. Putting this post together has got me thinking about all sorts of things I want to do. Thank you to everyone who shared their great ideas!
Do you know of any other good tutorials for the home?

i just crossed the ruffly headband off my list:) i love it!
nice collection.
while i like the look of the chalkboard, in ‘real life’ i think it would be a disaster and it would take only 10 minutes before its all smudgy and you have chalk all over you, your pet, your kid…
Thanks for this collection- very refreshing!
That’s true. But it might not be so bad if you use those liquid chalk pens. They’re not as messy.
Thanks for including my Ikea Hack (Rast Side Tables). I adored the project + how they turned out so I hope they inspire others. I’m having a blast reading your site! Wonderful inspiration.

Love the IKEA rugs. Duct tape – genius!
My favourite tutorials at the moment all seem to come from Centsational Girl. Honestly. I think she can build a house out of paper string and spray paint. There is nothing she won’t reuse and restore. http://www.centsationalgirl.com/
Great list! I love the projects you have here. I added it to our link luv roundup:

I am so excited about the idea of combining the two IKEA runners to make a large, lovely rug.
thanks for the shout out! and congratulations on the nytimes article! you are the big cheese now (not that I didn’t think you weren’t before).
