What can I say? Ryan is passionate about typography and I’m passionate about cucumbers. And yes, I totally ate every last piece after we took the pic.
About
Britt McMaster is addicted to cucumbers. She and her husband, Ryan, live and work in a tiny apartment in downtown Vancouver, BC. Both Ryan and Britt love to write lists of all their ideas on action sheets, and they have pages and pages. They write especially quickly after they've each had a dry cappuccino or two. Most of those fanciful ideas will stay on paper, but Cucumbersome is Britt's platform to try some out.

Its actually funny that you did that today because at the convention today I brought a whole cucumber for lunch and ate it for a that never been done before factor, (to outdo the cereal that I brought the yesterday.) anyways I ate a whole cucumber and it was really tasty; long live cucumbers.
hehe, the Zee is turned the wrong way.
Ian - Actually, we did this a couple of months ago but I just found it and thought I would post it. Did you have any salt for your whole cucumber?
Serena - We’re in Canada so I think you mean “zed”. Ha. We actually just used a scanner and the first try they were all backwards. We’re so smart.
Nope I didn’t have any salt I just ate a whole plain cucumber, it could of used salt but it was actually very tasty even by itself. Plus at least 14 people commented on how it was weird/a cool thing which made me really happy.
there goes ian taking all the credit again. whatever will do with him. gotta say though “our” whole cereal thing followed by a full cucumber did get alot of attention…now if only we could have had another day…
did you crack your cucumber in half over your knee? try it. it’s exciting.
I didn’t crack the cucumber in half I just started nibbling away at it but breaking a cucumber over my knee sounds super fun. I’m going to have to go and purchase one so I can do that and then eat it with salt. Mhmm, I love cucumbers with salt.
I know this is a little late, as it is last years post, but I wanted to say that your cucumber alphabet is BRILLIANT. Years ago I kept a page from a magazine about a photographer that spent years finding & photographing a butterfly alphabet!
